Build a Path to your Future!!

Barry College Construction courses are recognised as some of the best in the country.
This course gives learners the opportunity to gain hands on experience and enjoy practical work in a construction workshop environment, where they can develop a variety of hand skills.
The skills that pupils will develop are relevant to further courses of study and employment in the construction industry in a variety of craft, apprentice or technical pathways. The course will give learners a taster of all two trades, including Brickwork and Carpentry.  Higher level courses will enable pupils to specialise in their chosen trade.
These courses are particularly suited to those pupils who will be studying a range of academic subjects at school and aspire to technical roles in the construction industry such as quantity surveying, civil engineering or construction site supervision.

For safety reasons personal protective clothing is required for this course – this includes steel toe cap boots/shoes and overalls. Approximate cost: £40
